NTC TEACHING AND LEARNING CONDITIONS SURVEY

Over the past three years, more than a dozen states and districts have implemented the Teaching and Learning Conditions Survey. The chart below provides current states and districts participating in the survey project, the dates during which the survey will be completed by educators, the initiative web sites, and the primary partners for each initiative.

By building on the teacher working conditions agenda initially created in North Carolina and supported by Governor Easley, NTC continues to create national momentum around the critical issue of improving teacher working conditions. During the 2007-2008 school year, NTC and its partners in seven states and one additional large school district will survey approximately 400,000 educators.
