Registration Information

Before registering, please review the following information:

To complete your Symposium 2010 registration, you will need to select the sessions you wish to attend. Please review our complete Symposium program online, using the Symposium Navigator at left, or by downloading a print version.

We encourage Symposium participants to register online. If you prefer, you may download and submit a print registration form along with payment. Each participant must complete a separate registration, whether paying individually or as part of a group. Space in each Symposium session is limited and session selections will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment. A letter containing confirmed session choices and payment status will be sent to you in January.

Fees

PRE CONFERENCE:

Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and materials.

  • Early Bird (through December 31, 2009): $180 per person
  • After December 31, 2009: $215 per person.

SYMPOSIUM:

Registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and materials.

  • Early Bird (through December 31, 2009): $360 per person
  • After December 31, 2009: $415 per person

Hotel accommodations and parking are additional to Pre-Conference and Symposium costs.

Payment

  • Payment may be made by check, purchase order, or credit card. To help assure your preferred sessions, please submit your payment prior to January 8, 2010
  • If paying by personal check or money order, please submit payment with a printout of your registration summary, available upon completion of online registration.
  • If paying by purchase order, please include the PO number with registration. Physical copies of PO’s must be received via mail or fax before the event.
  • If paying by credit card, please call 831-600-2273, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm PST.

Cancellation Policy

A full refund minus a $50 processing fee will be issued upon written requests received by . No refunds will be given after January 8, 2010.

Hotel Information

Overnight accommodations are available at the Fairmont San Jose, at a special Symposium rate of $159 plus tax for single or double occupancy. In order to ensure this rate, you must make your reservation prior to January 8, 2010. Reservations may be made online at https://resweb.passkey.com/go/newteachercenter, or phone reservations at 800-441-1414 and indicate that you are making reservations for the New Teacher Center Symposium. Parking fees are currently $26 per day for hotel guests, and hourly up to $26 per day for visitors.
