AlaskaAlaska Program StandardsThe NTC works closely with the Alaska Department of Education to develop and support the implementation of the statewide teacher and principal induction program and provide input into statewide teacher and principal standards. ArizonaArizona Program Standards CaliforniaCalifornia Department of Education and California Commission on Teacher CredentialsThe NTC has played a major role in the shaping of the State's teacher and principal induction programs. The State's teaching standards and Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment Program were built on the pioneering work of the Santa Cruz New Teacher Project. Hawai'iHawai’i Department of EducationNTC consultants worked collaboratively with the Hawai’i Department of Education on the development of induction models. IdahoIdaho Department of EducationNTC consultants are working with the Idaho Department of Education developing a pilot study to inform state legislation. IllinoisIllinois Policy Task Force Illinois Department of Education Illinois IKAN New JerseyNew Jersey Department of EducationNTC policy consultants are working with the New Jersey Department of Education to develop Presentations focusing on teacher induction. OhioOhio Department of EducationNTC policy consultants facilitated a state-wide task force to develop the Ohio State Teaching Standards. UtahUtah Department of EducationNTC policy consultants assisted the Utah Department of Education in the design of Utah's Continuum of Professional Teacher Standards. VirginiaVirginia Department of EducationNTC policy consultants worked with a Virginia Task Force to develop induction program standards for programs in hard-to-staff schools. NTC presents regularly at DOE Induction Institutes, and our induction model is one of three approved models for Virginia Teacher Induction programs.
