Links to two new articles have been added to the site.

The first article, "Scaffolding School Leaders," by Suzette Lovely, talks about the importance of coaching based induction for new administrators.

The second article, "Emotionally Intelligent Principals," by Gary Bloom, talks about the emotional intelligence challenges faced by new administrators and the value of coaching in helping principals to address those challenges.

CHECK OUT THE REINVENTING EDUCATION CHANGE TOOLKIT!

The interactive Reinventing Education Change Toolkit, developed by IBM in collaboration with Harvard University Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter, is a resource for leadership development and management of large-scale or small-scale change initiatives in school. Click on http://www.reinventingeducation.org/RE3Web/. You can work on a specific change initiative or real-life challenge and receive suggestions and responses from the Change Toolkit. You can also just browse through for templates and tools. Access to the Toolkit requires a free registration that just takes a couple of minutes.
